Removable Cork Adapter Sets for Tuba Mutes

These adapter sets are designed to convert a tuba mute to using our patented removable cork system. This system allows players to easily swap out cork assemblies of varying thicknesses, ensuring compatibility with different bell throat sizes. The cork assemblies securely slide and lock onto four rail adapters, providing a stable fit. Installation and removal are quick and effortless.

Sets include four rail adapters and up to three cork thickness sizes. Each cork assembly features a 1/4-inch thick gripping surface, available in either a firm cork material or a soft "foam rubber" material (customer’s choice). The rail adapters come pre-installed with double-stick adhesive tape, ensuring easy and secure installation.

Adapter Set Options:

3 Standard Thicknesses- Includes a thin (4/4 Tuba), medium (larger 4/4 throats small 5/4) and thick (5/4 and 6/4 tubas) cork sets. 

2 Custom Thicknesses- Includes two customer specified cork thickness. 

3 Custom Thicknesses- Includes three customer specified cork thicknesses. 

These sets are offered as a presale with an estimated shipping date of 3/15/25.  (standard size sets will likely ship earlier). 

If you order a custom cork thickness please follow up with me at sales@s-mute.com and specify your cork thicknesses (distance between the mute and bell) for each of your cork sets.
